Chicken Marsala

Ingredients ¼ cup all-purpose flour for coating ½ teaspoon salt ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper ½ teaspoon dried oregano 4 medium skinless, boneless chicken breast halves - pounded 1/4 inch thick

4 tablespoons butter 4 tablespoons olive oil 1 cup sliced mushrooms ½ cup Marsala wine ¼ cup cooking sherry

Directions Compile every component. Combine the oregano, salt, pepper, and flour in a shallow basin or dish.

Dredge the chicken pieces in the flour blend.

Melt butter in olive oil in a big skillet over medium heat. Lightly brown the chicken after placing it in the pan.

Spoon chicken pieces over and top with mushrooms. Add sherry and wine.

Cover skillet; cook chicken until no longer pink and fluids run clear, about 10 minutes, stirring once.
