Soul-Warming Chicken Soup Recipe

Ingredients: – 1 whole chicken, cut into pieces – 8 cups chicken broth (low-sodium) – 2 carrots, sliced – 2 celery stalks, chopped

– 1 onion, diced – 3 cloves garlic, minced – 1 cup egg noodles – Fresh parsley, chopped – Salt and pepper to taste

In a large pot, bring the chicken pieces and chicken broth to a boil. Skim off any foam that rises to the top.

Add carrots, celery, onion, and garlic to the pot. Simmer on low heat until the chicken is cooked through and vegetables are tender.

Remove the chicken pieces, shred the meat, and return it to the pot.

Cook the egg noodles separately according to package instructions and add them to the soup.

Season with salt and pepper to taste. Stir in fresh parsley just before serving.
