Ultimate Fudgy Brownies

Ingredients: – 1 cup (225g) unsalted butter – 2 cups (400g) granulated sugar – 4 large eggs – 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

– 3/4 cup (90g) unsweetened cocoa powder – 1 cup (125g) all-purpose flour – 1/2 teaspoon salt – 1 cup (175g) semi-sweet chocolate chips (optional, but highly recommended for extra fudginess)

Instructions: 1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking pan, or line it with parchment paper.

1. In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Once melted, remove from heat and stir in the sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until well combined. 2. Sift in the cocoa powder, flour, and salt. Stir until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.

1. If using chocolate chips, fold them into the batter until evenly distributed. 2. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan, spreading it out evenly.

Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs. Be careful not to overbake, as you want these brownies to be fudgy!

Once baked, remove from the oven and let cool completely in the pan before slicing into squares.
